New Televisions

We've upgraded the televisions in all of the accommodation now to larger, HD LED models. They arrived earlier this month and our guests have been delighted - 32" screens in the 'A' frames and 42" screens in the cottages.

It's Official!

 

It's been confirmed! Bude has officially been the sunniest place in the UK this summer with a stunning 783 hours of sunshine! And you don't even have to take our word for it - the nice news people at the BBC have reported it here .

Bude Lifeboat Day

Bude Lifeboat Day was a roaring success this year! The weather was exceptionally good - as August Bank Holidays should be! The sun shone for the whole day, and record crowds of people enjoyed all of the events including search and rescue demos, live music, hog roasts, barbeques and much more. The whole day was rounded off with a spectacular firework display - the perfect end to a perfect day!

We Did it Again!

We are thrilled to have received another Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor this year, which again puts us in the top-performing 10% of businesses listed.

Summertime!

Well summertime is well and truly with us! These glorious photos are from the Sea Pool at Summerleaze (taken last weekend) and the sun has not stopped shining since!

 

The picnic at the Sea Pool was enjoyed by over 400 people - fabulous food, music and weather  - with all proceeds to the fund to keep the Sea Pool going.

Save Bude Sea Pool!

Many of our guests are familiar with (and very fond of!) our wonderful Sea Pool at Summerleaze Beach in Bude.
Friends of Bude Sea Pool was formed in 2011, following threatened closure of the pool, and since then have raised thousands of pounds and made many improvements - including the replacement walkway shown in this recent photo.
So the Sea Pool is saved and improved for all to enjoy!
