This great spotted woodpecker has become quite a regular visitor to the lodges here at Forda. This picture was taken by one of our regular guests from the kitchen window of her lodge. Thanks for sharing Sue!

Born to be Wild!

Lovely video of our little leveret being released back into the wild yesterday evening (and what a glorious evening it was!) This beautiful creature was rescued here at Forda back in February and has settled back in flawlessly! It was a treat to see her 'haring' around this morning!

Summer Carp

Our fishing guests have certainly enjoyed themselves this year at Forda.
All four ponds have fished really well (our current November guests are still bagging up!), and our newest Meadow Pond is now well established and the fish are steadily growing.
We especially enjoy seeing our younger guests catching the angling bug - even more so when they share their pictures with us!

Bude takes the bronze medal

A lovely end to the year with Bude winning the bronze medal for Best UK Coastal Resort in the 2014 British Travel Awards, and Cornwall once again scooping gold for Best UK Holiday Destination - for the SIXTH consecutive year!
